Measure B is for Billionaires – a giveaway written by billionaires to create mansions for millionaires. Measure C is written by and for our Community to create affordable housing and protect our environment.
Vote No B - "B" is for Billionaires Save our green spaces and San Jose values by voting No on Measure B
Measure B was the brainchild of wealthy, out-of-town developers: it would allow them to convert San Jose hillsides into a gated community of luxury homes. Measure B gives developers the authority to ignore traffic fees and overlook environmental review. And Measure B will leave San Jose residents footing a $24.5 million bill yearly.
Community Advocates say NO to B The League of Women Voters, the entire San Jose City Council and Mayor, the Mercury News, Sierra Club, AARP, SV@Home, Citizens for Fiscal Responsibility, both the Democratic AND Republican parties, and so many others all oppose Measure B because they’ve all read the fine print: Measure “B” is a Billionaire-funded scam on our residents, enriching them at the cost of our future.
Vote Yes on C - “C” is for Community Measure C guarantees fundamental protections for our communities and our tax dollars. Developers and other special interest must be held accountable – Measure C will stop them from short-changing voters. Measure C expands the creation of more affordable housing and stops developers from taking costly shortcuts that would impact our quality of life here in San Jose.
That’s why Measure C is supported by San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo, nine city council members, good governance and community organizations, seniors and community leaders.
